White Christmas in Greensboro

The snow started Christmas morning, but it was several hours later before it began to stick.  The photo above was taken right before dusk.

This is the same vantage at about 7:40AM on Boxing Day.  We are cozy inside with plenty of food and can appreciate just how beautiful it is out there.

Lovely! We're getting lots of rain on the coast, but it's been snowing in New Bern. We might get some tonight. Personally, I'd rather just have the rain!

Hi Jean,
I'm glad it's just rain for you, but the snow is certainly beautiful.
Happy holidays,
Dana

Glad you're enjoying the snow. It looks wonderful. Hope you had a very merry Christmas to go with it. Keep warm and keep safe. Our UK news is reporting the snowstorms on the other side of the Atlantic and it sounds so fierce!

Hello Frieda,
Our snowfall was very calm compared to further up the East coast. Our daughter's husband flew home early yesterday morning to Boston just ahead of the storm and they already have a foot of snow with six more inches to come! We stayed inside yesterday putting puzzles together and watching TV. Have you been able to get out of your lane yet?
Happy holidays,
Dana
