Notes from the porch

The weather continues to be glorious here in North Carolina--warm, but little to no humidity. I am ensconced on the screened porch with lots of hand sewing to keep me busy. Above is Finn's quilt all laid out and ready for basting two days ago in the studio.

Putting the first length of quilting thread in Finn's quilt on the porch.

Finishing up the binding on Mérida Remix.

I love, love, love this stripy quilt! So simple and graphic. I may need to make one.

Hi Terry,
It's so quick and easy to piece and there are so many different striped fabrics to tempt one into making more and more. In this older post there are links to the information about the pattern and the fast piecing tutorials.
